Romania can support Egypt with its expertise in the area of irrigation and research, so that farmers in both countries can become more competitive on the market and develop further, says Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Florin Barbu, CE Report quotes Agerpres

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Florin Barbu signed with his Egyptian counterpart, Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Improvement, an Action Plan based on the Memorandum of Understanding in the area of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Improvement of the Arab Republic of Egypt, initialed in 2017.
