Reflecting on Greece’s 2015 crisis, Mitsotakis recalled a time when the country was “descending into the abyss” and on the verge of exiting the eurozone. Now, he noted, Greece has restored fiscal stability, borrows at lower rates than Italy, and maintains primary surpluses.
He also emphasized Greece’s digital transformation, stating that the country now outpaces many of its European peers and that technology must play a central role in building a modern, efficient public administration.
