Moldova, Slovakia explore new defense and security partnership
The opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, the regional security situation, and the European agenda of Moldova were discussed by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák.
The head of government praised Slovakia for its support of Moldova’s European path and its openness to jointly strengthening European stability and security, noting that Moldova is not only a beneficiary but also part of this common effort, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
“We have the responsibility to protect our citizens and provide them with safety and confidence in the future. Moldova is not alone. We have partners and friends we can rely on,” the prime minister said.
For his part, Minister Robert Kaliňák reaffirmed his country’s full readiness to support Moldova in its European integration process, stressing Slovakia’s commitment to strengthening the bilateral partnership through new initiatives in the defense industry, military education, and scientific research.
