Decision on Separate Candidacies for Bucharest City Hall by PSD and PNL:

The decision by PSD and PNL to have separate candidacies for the Bucharest City Hall, namely Gabriela Firea and Sebastian Burduja, has been described as "rational" and "mature" by Rareș Hopincă, who will run for the City Hall of Sector 2 as part of this electoral alliance. Hopincă stated that both candidates are serious contenders and is convinced that Gabriela Firea will ultimately be elected as the future mayor of Bucharest.

Hopincă emphasized his confidence in the competition for the City Hall of Sector 2, citing support from residents in all neighborhoods. He criticized the current mayor's inability to fulfill promises made during the campaign and meet the expectations of Sector 2 residents.

Greek Prime Minister Encourages Postal Voting on TikTok:

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has posted a video on TikTok encouraging citizens to apply to vote by mail using the epistoliki.ypes.gov.gr platform by Holy Monday. The video emphasizes the benefits of postal voting, including time and cost savings, and appeals particularly to elderly citizens, those with disabilities, and seasonal workers.

Mitsotakis highlights the importance of participating in elections as a support for Democracy and stresses that abstention is not the solution. Over 115,000 applications have already been received, marking a significant milestone in facilitating citizen participation in the electoral process.
