Germany Backs Moldova’s EU Path

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul visited Chisinau today, reaffirming Germany’s strong support for Moldova’s European integration and regional stability.

Speaking in the capital, Wadephul emphasized Germany’s commitment to aiding Moldova in reforms, energy security, economic development, and the rule of law.

“Moldova is on the European path, and we will continue to support it,” he stated, calling for deeper bilateral ties, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The visit follows Wadephul’s trip to Kyiv, where he condemned Russia’s aggression. In Chisinau, he underlined Moldova’s strategic importance for Europe’s stability.

Wadephul’s agenda also included meetings with religious leaders and a scheduled dinner with President Maia Sandu.
