Foreign Affairs Minister Luminita Odobescu said on Saturday, as the Russian Federation's war of aggression against Ukraine enters its third year, that day by day, Moscow "mercilessly inflicts unimaginable suffering and loss of human lives" in what represents "a direct attack on the principles of the UN Charter." "Today, February 24, we commemorate two years since the launch by the Russian Federation of its war of aggression against Ukraine. For two years now, day by day, the Russian Federation has been inflicting unimaginable suffering and loss of human lives, having left dozens of thousands of families destroyed, schools, hospitals, kindergartens in tatters, and critical and civilian infrastructure mangled, including at the border of Ukraine with Romania. What Russia does is a direct attack on the principles of the UN Charter and the fundamental norms of international law," the foreign minister said in a video message.
