This high-level meeting signals a new phase in Moldova’s European journey. Such bilateral summits are typically held with key partners or EU candidate countries, underlining Moldova's growing strategic importance and the EU’s support for its accession.

Discussions will focus on Moldova’s EU membership process, economic cooperation, infrastructure, energy, digitalization, and regional development. A key topic will be the EU’s recently adopted €1.9 billion Growth Plan for Moldova, aimed at modernizing the economy and improving citizens’ quality of life.
