The representative of the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, Vlad Sabajuc, known by his stage name Satoshi, has officially released the music video for the song he will perform on the contest’s main stage, titled “Viva Moldova,” CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

Directed by Roman Burlaca and filmed with the support of cinematographer Nicu Lungu, the video features dancers from the JOC National Ballet as stage partners. Satoshi thanked them for the collaboration in a post on Facebook.

The video blends traditional elements, including the red-and-white folk costumes worn by the ballet, with a modern visual aesthetic, creating a bridge between cultural roots and contemporary music.

The song was composed and produced by Vlad Sabajuc together with Cătălin Temciuc and Andrei Vulpe at the Versus Artist studio in Chișinău between October 2025 and February 2026. The pre-chorus vocals are performed by Aliona Moon.

Satoshi, a 27-year-old artist originally from Cahul, previously gained recognition with hits such as “Căștile mele,” “N-avem scuze,” “Mama mi-a spus,” “Noaptea Pe La 3,” and “Cad în sus.” He has performed numerous concerts in Moldova and Romania, as well as a show in London in 2024, collaborating with artists including Carla’s Dreams, Feoctist, Magnat, Aliona Moon, and the Advahov Brothers.

Moldova’s representative at Eurovision 2026 will perform in the first semifinal of the competition, scheduled for May 12 in Vienna, Austria, alongside representatives from Georgia, Portugal, Croatia, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Montenegro, Estonia, San Marino, Poland, Belgium, Lithuania, Serbia, and Israel.

Moldova has participated in the international competition since 2005, achieving its best result in 2017 when the band Sunstroke Project finished third with the song “Hey Mamma.”
