US CBP discloses latest figures on IEEPA duty refunds - EXCLUSIVE

Since April 20, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has been processing refunds through CAPE.

This was said by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Spokesperson in an exclusive statement with CE Report.

So far, CBP has processed over 25.1 million entries, the Spokesperson added.

"Of those, approximately 17.69 million entries have already been liquidated without IEEPA duties and approximately $128.68 billion in both potential and certified refunds have been accepted for processing in CAPE (as of July 31, 2026),” the statement reads.

The Spokesperson noted that CBP has fully complied with all of the Court of International Trade and other court decisions regarding International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) refunds.

"Importers and brokers can access information about the IEEPA refund process, important updates, step-by-step guidance, and resources via CBP’s IEEPA website," the Spokesperson concluded.
