"Relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova are developing in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect, including in economic, energy, cultural, and educational fields. Since 2023, direct flights between our capitals have facilitated personal contacts and business cooperation. We welcome the interest in expanding cooperation through investments, renewable energy projects, and regional green energy initiatives," Bayramov said.

The agenda also included cooperation within international organizations and regional security developments. Both sides reaffirmed mutual support for each country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stressed the importance of peace and stability in the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Popșoi extended an invitation to his Azerbaijani counterpart for an official visit to Moldova and to attend the Ministerial Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Chișinău on May 14–15, 2026.
