Selena Gomez shares dream of motherhood

Hollywood star Selena Gomez has spoken before about her desire to have children. She hopes to become a mother in the future and start a family of her own. This time, she shared that wish with her followers.

In an Instagram Stories post, the 34-year-old actress shared a sweet photo of herself with a newborn baby, People reports. Beneath the photo, Gomez expressed her wish to welcome a child of her own, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

“One day…” she wrote in the caption.

Gomez has previously spoken about her desire to become a mother and start a family with her husband, producer Benny Blanco.

In September 2024, the singer and actress told Vanity Fair that she is unable to carry her own children, saying it was something she had to come to terms with over time.

Nevertheless, she enthusiastically said that it is amazing how many wonderful people in the world are willing to carry a baby as a surrogate mother. Gomez has also said she is open to adopting a child, explaining that, ultimately, the child would be hers.
