Moldovan wrestler claims U23 European title
Freestyle wrestler Alexandr Gaidarlî of Moldova won the gold medal at the European U23 Wrestling Championships.
The athlete from Moldova became European champion after defeating Mahomed Emi Elteemirov in the 70 kg freestyle final with a score of 3–1, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
Before reaching the final in the 70 kg weight category, Gaidarlî secured three dominant victories without conceding a single point.
This is the second medal won by Alexandr Gaidarlî at the European U23 Wrestling Championships, following the bronze medal he earned in 2025.
