Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with outgoing German Ambassador Margret Maria Uebber and Italian Ambassador Lorenzo Tomassoni, thanking them for strengthening ties between Moldova and their respective countries, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean praised Ambassador Uebber for her role in deepening Moldovan-German relations, particularly Germany’s support during recent crises and Moldova’s EU integration efforts. They also discussed ways to attract more German investment.

The Prime Minister acknowledged Ambassador Tomassoni’s contribution to the Moldovan-Italian partnership, highlighting key achievements such as the Social Security Agreement, a justice cooperation memorandum, and the opening of the Italian Development Agency’s office in Chisinau.

“We have true friends in the EU, and their support shows Moldova’s potential to join the European family by 2028,” Recean stated.
