“Digital transformation is no longer optional—it’s essential for economic success and global relevance,” Recean said, urging the IT sector to support non-tech industries in adopting digital tools, especially artificial intelligence.
He highlighted progress in public service digitalization, with over 80% of entrepreneurs now interacting with the state online. “Time saved builds trust,” Recean noted, announcing the launch of eDemocracy, a new platform for citizen engagement in public decision-making.
Looking ahead, the PM stressed that aligning with EU digital standards and infrastructure is vital. A competition was also announced for the best "smart bureaucracy solution," with the Moldovan government pledging to be the first client.
The summit brought together 100 speakers, 150 companies, and over 3,500 participants from Moldova and abroad.
