Sandu Urges Unity on Disinformation

President Maia Sandu participated in the opening ceremony of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA) in Chișinău, marking 30 years since EPRA’s founding and the adoption of Moldova’s Audiovisual Law, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Over 130 delegates from 50 countries gathered for the event. President Sandu thanked EPRA members for supporting Moldova’s efforts to modernize its audiovisual sector and combat disinformation.

“Your decision to mark 30 years of cooperation here in Chișinău is a sign of trust in our country, in our progress, and our commitment to European values,” she said.

Sandu stressed the need for united efforts across Europe to counter disinformation, highlighting EPRA’s role in promoting shared solutions and defending democratic standards.
