Russia suffers significant troop losses in Ukraine, says Kaja Kallas

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said in Brussels that, according to the figures she has, Russia is suffering significant troop losses in Ukraine.

At a press conference, she said that discussions on defending European security interests will continue in May, CE Report quotes MIA.

When asked about negotiations, Kallas said she does not see signs that Russia is ready to engage in constructive talks to end the war.

“We should not humiliate ourselves or act as if we are begging or pleading for talks, but rather be in a position to turn these simulations of negotiations into real negotiations,” Kaja Kallas added.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
