Killer of Gucci Dies After Shooting Incident Involving Son
Benedetto Ceraulo, 63, the man who murdered businessman Maurizio Gucci in 1995, has died.
On April 22, he shot his 37-year-old son Gaetano in the face during a heated argument in the garden of their home in Santa Maria a Monte (Pisa), CE Report quotes ANSA.
Ceraulo died at the Pisa hospital, where he had been hospitalized in critical condition. He shot himself in the head with a small-caliber pistol shortly after injuring his son.
According to an initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri, the argument was triggered by trivial reasons: the 63-year-old allegedly “lost control” after his son scratched his car.
