Israeli minister attacks Italy over Flotilla investigation
Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir attacked Italy in a post on X after news emerged that the Rome prosecutor’s office had placed him under investigation in relation to the Flotilla case, CE Report quotes ANSA.
He mocked the situation, saying:
“The country of the boot has become the country of slippers.”
He added, according to Israeli media:
“Israel is not a punching bag for a gang of terrorist-supporting liars who fabricate slander and falsehoods against our fighters.”
“I will not be discouraged by this or any other investigation, and I will continue to stand proudly with our fighters,” he said.
