Trump reiterates Iran nuclear warning

Politics

Iran and the United States have reportedly reached an agreement to extend their ceasefire for another 60 days.

The memorandum of understanding signed by Iran and the United States in June expires on Monday, August 17. According to sources cited by the Arab broadcaster, the two sides have agreed to extend the ceasefire for another two months, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform that Washington's main objective remains unchanged: Iran must not obtain nuclear weapons “under any circumstances.”

A possible extension of the ceasefire would keep hostilities between the two countries suspended and provide additional time for negotiations on Iran's nuclear program and the terms of a potential broader agreement.
