European Commission backs Bosnia’s reforms

At the eighth meeting of the Subcommittee on Economic and Financial Issues and Statistics between the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Brussels on Thursday, key developments were discussed.

The European Commission welcomed the adoption of the Law on Personal Data Protection and the Law on Border Control, CE Report quotes FENA.

It emphasized the need for further progress in adopting laws related to the rule of law.

The Commission also urged the appointment of a chief negotiator to advance the adoption of the EU negotiating framework with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
