Culinary Event Showcases Traditional Holiday Dishes in Dimitrovgrad

The 12th annual Christmas Table event brought together 126 culinary masters in Dimitrovgrad on Sunday. Held in Bulgaria Square, the celebration featured 221 authentic holiday dishes and drinks prepared by cooks and producers from across the municipality. A jury selected winners in 11 competition categories, CE Report quotes BTA

Visitors explored recreations of traditional Bulgarian village life, witnessing age-old practices like bread kneading, bulgur preparation, wool spinning, and sock knitting.

Chef Ivan Zvezdev added to the festivities by cooking 1,000 portions of a bean, pumpkin, and corn stew in a large cauldron, sharing the recipe with attendees.
