Albania expands school program focused on environmental awareness

Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama on Wednesday morning highlighted the ‘Earth at School’ program, posting images from a session at Vlora’s Jani Minga school.

Rama said the program teaches children to protect the earth and appreciate nature, CE Report quotes ATA.

“The day begins in a cheerful spirit at Vlora’s Jani Minga school, where pupils learn to look after the earth as part of the ‘Earth at School’ initiative, a project designed to bring students closer to nature,” Rama wrote.

The “Earth at School” program has now been integrated into the national curriculum, promoting a new approach to connecting students with nature through hands-on activities and interactive lessons.

Rolled out across schools nationwide, the program aims to bring students closer to caring for nature and the environment through direct initiatives.
