The Government notes that Mden 100 million are earmarked for construction and technical documentation for sewage systems and wastewater treatment systems, Mden 100 million for construction and upgrading of water supply systems, Mden 10 million for educational, research and development projects, as well as Mden 19 million for activities to raise public awareness, education and training related to the environment, CE Report quotes MIA.

"By encouraging and funding projects that support protection and promotion and sustainable management, we will contribute to a cleaner environment, which is the number one factor driving a better quality of life and health of all citizens," reads the press release.

The Government calls on all municipalities, associations, civil society organizations, scholarly and educational institutions to actively participate, adding that the application deadline is three weeks. Information are available at the official website of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.

"Environmental pollution is a problem that affects all citizens equally. Therefore, it takes time to fully resolve this problem, and by investing in environmental projects, we will ensure a cleaner environment. A clean environment and the health of citizens remain our commitment. Citizens' problems are also our problems, therefore an urgent and systemic solution is needed. The Government delivers results," the press release reads.
