
Türkiye Nears First Nuclear Output
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Türkiye will begin trial electricity production from its first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu, by the end of 2025. Speaking at a natural resources summit in Istanbul, he emphasized Türkiye’s growing role in regional energy security, particularly amid Europe’s ongoing energy challenges.
