The North Macedonia women's senior national volleyball team gathered at the Continental Hotel in Skopje to begin preparations for their participation in the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy.

Head coach Milos Gavrilovic, after making his debut in the previous cycle, now has a better understanding of the squad at his disposal, although the roster for this training camp has undergone some changes, as several young volleyball players are unavailable due to their commitments with the U20 national team in the zonal qualifiers for the 2027 European Championship.

North Macedonia's national team will conduct its full preparations at the Forza Sports Center in Skopje, with the first training session, CE Report informs via North Macedonia's volleyball federation's official website.

For North Macedonia's women's national team, this will be their second consecutive appearance at the Mediterranean Games, following their participation in the 2022 Games in Oran, Algeria.

At the Mediterranean Games, North Macedonia will compete in Group B alongside Türkiye, Greece, Algeria and Kosovo. Group A will feature Italy, Serbia, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Syria.
