Aston Villa submit loan bid for Chelsea's Alejandro Garnacho
Aston Villa are expected to reinvest a significant portion of the fee received from the sale of Morgan Rogers to strengthen their squad.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Birmingham club has submitted an official offer to Chelsea for winger Alejandro Garnacho, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The proposal includes a season-long loan with Aston Villa covering the player's full salary, as well as a purchase option that could become mandatory if certain conditions are met during the season.
Romano reported that Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is the driving force behind the move and views Garnacho as a player capable of taking the next step in his career.
"Emery considers Garnacho a key transfer target and believes he can help him reach an even higher level in his development," Romano said.
In addition to Garnacho, Aston Villa are also evaluating other attacking options as they continue their search for a replacement for Morgan Rogers.
