Sofia to host Sofia Cup and Balkan Diving Championship

The Dianabad Swimming Pool in Sofia will host one of the most prestigious events in the diving calendar from July 14 to 17 - the 13th edition of the Sofia Cup, which will take place in parallel with the Balkan Championship for juniors and seniors.

The organizer of the event is the Bulgarian Diving Federation, with the assistance of the Vitosha Diving Club and the Sofia - European Capital of Sport Foundation, CE Report quotes BTA.

The official opening of the Balkan Championship and the 13th Sofia Cup will take place on July 14 at 3 pm at the Dianabad Swimming Pool.

The organizers expect four days of competitions, impressive performances and a true sports celebration that will establish Sofia as one of the leading destinations for international diving competitions.
