French forward Yves Pons rejoins Asvel
French forward Yves Pons has returned to ASVEL Basket. Pons previously played for ASVEL during the 2022-23 season before spending the next two years in Spain with Bàsquet Girona (2023-25) and BC Andorra (2025-26).
In August 2021, Pons signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, splitting his time between the NBA club and its G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Pons has represented France at every youth national team level and won the gold medal at the 2014 FIBA U16 European Championship.
