Prince Harry to visit London without family

Prince Harry will not be accompanied by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex or their children during his visit to London next week.

According to Sky News, it is still unclear whether the family will join the Duke on other occasions outside the British capital, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Harry had planned to travel with Meghan and their children, Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, to attend an event ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

However, concerns have emerged over the family's security in the United Kingdom after Harry's request for taxpayer-funded police protection was rejected. Despite this, it emerged on Monday that the prince's security team is still assessing several options that could make the visit feasible for the entire family.

Last year, the Duke lost a legal challenge against the British government over the reduction of his security arrangements in the UK following his decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.

He is now awaiting a review of the decision by Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC), the body responsible for determining security arrangements for members of the royal family and other public figures.

The last time the children saw their grandfather, King Charles III, was four years ago. The King has reportedly offered to host the family at an unspecified royal residence.
