Microsoft launches $2.5b AI organization
Microsoft has announced the creation of a new enterprise artificial intelligence organization, Microsoft Frontier Company, backed by a $2.5 billion investment to help customers transform their business operations through AI.
In a company statement, Microsoft said the new organization will combine deep industry expertise, change management, and continuous improvement experience with enterprise-scale AI engineering capabilities, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
The company said the new organization will support customers worldwide in their AI-driven transformation efforts.
Microsoft added that the initiative will become the industry's largest results-oriented AI engineering organization and confirmed that it will invest $2.5 billion in the project.
The company also said that 6,000 specialists will be assigned to work with customers to design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve AI systems focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.
