Kosovo alpine skiers qualify for 2026 Winter Olympic Games

Kiana Kryeziu and Drin Kokaj will represent Kosovo at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, strengthening the presence of Kosovar sport on the world’s biggest winter stage.

Kryeziu has secured qualification in three alpine skiing disciplines—slalom, giant slalom, and super-giant slalom—in which she will compete in Italy, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Drin Kokaj, meanwhile, has met the qualification criteria in the slalom discipline, earning the right to represent Kosovo at the Olympic competitions.

Lirika Deva and Vokshi were also part of the qualification process, but under Olympic rules, Kosovo is represented by one athlete per gender, which opened the way for Kryeziu and Kokaj.

For Kiana Kryeziu, Milano Cortina 2026 will mark her second Olympic appearance after Beijing 2022, while for Drin Kokaj it will be his debut at the Winter Olympic Games, which will be held from February 6 to 22, 2026.
