Three brothers to play together for first time in NBA history

Alex Antetokounmpo is officially a player for the Milwaukee Bucks, having signed a two-way contract with the team of his brothers, Giannis and Thanasis.

The agreement marks a historic moment for the Antetokounmpo family and the NBA, as it is the first time that three brothers will play together on the same roster, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

The 24-year-old guard/forward returns to Milwaukee, where he previously played from 2022 to 2024 with the team’s affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. This season, he began with Aris after spending last year with PAOK. In the past, he has also played for Murcia, Mazeikiai, and Podgorica.

The two-way contract allows Antetokounmpo to participate in up to 50 regular-season games, with annual gross earnings of $636,435, regardless of his playing time. He is not eligible to participate in the playoffs unless his contract is converted to a standard one before the end of the season.
