
Kosovo's Trepça falls to PAOK in FIBA Europe Cup opener
Trepça’s basketball team suffered a loss in their first group match of the FIBA Europe Cup 2025/26, falling to the Greek team PAOK Thessaloniki with a score of 74:85, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The Mitrovica team's debut in the European competition began with a defeat.
The Greeks finished the first quarter ahead by seven points, 27:20. They also dominated the second quarter, which ended 18:13, making the halftime score 45:33.
Trepça showed more aggression and efficiency in the second half, winning the third quarter 22:18. However, in the fourth and final quarter, PAOK did not allow any surprises and secured the win with an 11-point margin — 85:74.

JaCori Payne (Trepça): 19 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds
In the other group match, German team Braunschweig narrowly defeated Poland’s Włocławek with a tight score of 98:97.
Trepça will face PAOK again in Mitrovica on November 5.
