Kosovo basketball gets boost from Illyria

The Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Illyria Insurance Company, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Present at the signing were FBK President Arben Fetahu, Albin Podvorica, CEO of ILLYRIA Life, and Shpend Balija, CEO of ILLYRIA.

FBK President Arben Fetahu emphasized that the federation now has a strong new partner, one that is present in basketball throughout the region.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Sava Group and the two companies Illyria Insurance and Illyria Life for the support they are giving to basketball in Kosovo. It is a pleasure to enter into this long-term cooperation together. We have a strong partner, one that is present in all basketball across the region, and fortunately also in our basketball. The support you’re giving today is support that serves basketball,” said Fetahu.

He added that this partnership will be long-term and will deepen in the future.

“What I can promise is that, as with all our partners, we will do our utmost to ensure that our partnership is as effective as possible. I am convinced that this long-term partnership will continue and deepen, as it has with all those before you,” Fetahu continued.

Meanwhile, ILLYRIA CEO Shpend Balija stated that Kosovo basketball is on the right track and will have maximum support as they move forward toward new victories.

“It is a pleasure on behalf of Illyria and the Sava Group to establish a cooperation partnership, because the youth of this country needs support. Sport is something that drives everyone forward, and Kosovar basketball is on a very good path to advance further. Therefore, we wish you all success and we are behind you, so many victories ahead,” said Balija.
