
Slovenian ice hockey star to retire after upcoming season
Anže Kopitar, the first Slovenian to play in the NHL, announced he will retire after the upcoming season.
He joined North America’s prestigious league in 2006, CE Report quotes STA.
Kopitar has spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Kings.
During his tenure, he won two Stanley Cups and served as the team’s long-time captain.
