Kosovo Reaches All-Time High in FIFA Rankings

Sports

FIFA has published the updated rankings for national teams for the month of July, where the Kosovo National Team has recorded a significant improvement.

After two convincing victories in friendly matches held in June at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium – first against Armenia (5-2) and then against Comoros (4-2) – the Dardanelles have risen two places in the rankings. Kosovo now holds the 95th place, which is the highest position in its history, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

On the other hand, the Albanian national team has recorded a slight decline in the global rankings. Goalless draws against Serbia and a 1-1 draw against Latvia were not enough to maintain their previous position. The Red and Blacks have lost two positions and are currently ranked 68th in the world.
