Beşiktaş pursues Kosovar football star
Beşiktaş have shown great interest in signing Kosovar striker Vedat Muriqi. According to Turkish media, the Istanbul club have initiated contacts to bring Muriqi to the team this summer. He currently plays for Mallorca in La Liga and has had a good performance with 35 goals and 11 assists in 118 matches, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Beşiktaş are looking to strengthen their attack and Muriqi is seen as an ideal choice due to his previous experience in Turkish football, where he has played for Fenerbahçe, Rizespor, Gençlerbirliği and Giresunspor. The most notable detail in this matter is his release clause, which is reportedly around 5 million euros – a sum considered affordable for such a player.
His transfer is expected to bring significant reinforcement to the team already led by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Muriqi, for his part, has not hidden his desire to return to Turkey.
