That Kosovo is already among the strongest countries in the world in the sport of judo has been proven for years, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Led by the best coach in the world, Driton Kuka, Kosovo has achieved outstanding success in this sport and has now become a place where judokas from around the world come to Kosovo to receive the best lessons in this sport from Kuka and the elite judokas of Kosovo.

Even these days, judokas from many powerful countries in the world are staying in the city of Peja, as announced by coach Driton Kuka.

"These days, teams from Bosnia, Sweden, Japan, Puerto Rico, and the Netherlands are staying in Peja. Next week, we will also have teams and competitors from Germany, where, in addition to the athletes, we will also have the Mayor of Potsdam, a great friend of the Albanians there, as well as other guests. Peja and Kosovo are once again the epicenter of world judo. Kosovo is a judo state," Kukan wrote on Facebook.
