Luka Modrić extends AC Milan contract
Luka Modrić has signed a contract extension with AC Milan until June 2027.
The 40-year-old Croatian midfielder agreed to remain with the Rossoneri for the 2026/27 season after several weeks of negotiations with the club, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Modrić completed his debut season at Milan after joining from Real Madrid. Last season, he made 37 appearances, scored 2 goals, and provided 3 assists.
The Croatian veteran will continue to wear the No. 14 shirt and will be part of head coach Ruben Amorim's new project.
After competing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Modrić will enjoy a short break before rejoining the squad for its preseason tour in Australia.
He joins Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila among the players who have signed contracts with Milan this summer.
