Dimitrov Retires from US Open Quarterfinal Due to Groin Injury

Bulgaria's highest ranked tennis player Grigor Dimitrov retired from his US Open quarterfinal match against American Frances Tiafoe at at 3-6 7-6(5) 3-6 1-4 on Wednesday after he suffered a groin injury at the end of the third set. That was his best result at the Grand Slam tournament since 2019 when he reached the semifinals by defeating Roger Federer, CE Report quotes BTA.
