Dallas Mavericks sign Fenerbahçe star

NBA team Dallas Mavericks have announced the signing of Turkish international Tarık Biberović.

In a statement posted on the U.S.-based social media platform X, the Mavericks confirmed that they had reached an agreement with the 25-year-old player, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.

Biberović joins Dallas after establishing himself as one of the standout performers in Turkish basketball with Fenerbahçe, where he played a key role in the club's domestic and European campaigns. The versatile wing is known for his three-point shooting, athleticism, and defensive intensity.

Last season, he averaged 12.65 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2 assists in 34 Turkish Basketball Super League games while wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey.

The move marks another milestone in Biberović's career as he makes the transition to the NBA, joining a Mavericks squad looking to strengthen its perimeter depth ahead of the new season.
