North Macedonia, US pledge to deepen political, economic cooperation
North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timčo Mucunski, met in Skopje with U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Nicole Varens.
The meeting reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, reflected in political dialogue and regular high-level meetings, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia's official website.
The two officials discussed reform processes and future activities aimed at further strengthening relations, with a particular focus on political and economic cooperation.
They stressed that amid growing security challenges and risks, the U.S.-North Macedonia strategic partnership, security cooperation, and NATO alliance are of particular importance for stability and security.
The meeting also reaffirmed the two countries’ mutual commitment to further deepening bilateral cooperation and strengthening friendly relations. The officials also welcomed the recently held second session of the Strategic Dialogue in Washington.
