North Macedonia, UN discuss five-year cooperation framework

Minister for Inter-Community Relations of the Republic of North Macedonia, Agon Ferati, met with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in North Macedonia, Rita Columbia.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and support for processes related to the country’s development, CE Report informs via the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations of the Republic of North Macedonia's official website.

The importance of close cooperation with young people was highlighted, while particular attention was given to the Five-Year Cooperation Framework with the Government.

Within this framework, the participants also discussed its four main pillars, including European Union-related reforms and the implementation of priorities set out in the government programme.

A significant part of the discussion focused on strengthening rapprochement and cooperation among the country’s different ethnic communities, with particular emphasis on young people as a unifying force.

In this regard, the importance of youth clubs operating within municipalities, as well as student unions, was highlighted as spaces where young people can become more actively involved in social life and decision-making processes.
