North Macedonia, US pledge deeper strategic partnership

Speaker of Parliament of North Macedonia Afrim Gashi held a working meeting with Chargé d'Affaires of the United States, Nicole Varnes.

During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the excellent relations between the two countries, as well as their strong partnership based on shared democratic values and close institutional cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed the parliamentary agenda and current institutional developments, CE Report informs via the Parliament of North Macedonia's official website.

They emphasized the importance of the effective functioning of democratic institutions, strengthening the role of Parliament, and advancing reforms in the interest of citizens.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening the partnership and strategic dialogue.
