Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced Thursday that his government is ready to assist Israel as it battles devastating wildfires. “We stand in full solidarity with the people of Israel,” Ciolacu posted on X, adding that Romanian authorities are in contact with their Israeli counterparts, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The wildfires, which broke out west of Jerusalem, are among the largest in recent years and have claimed several lives. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the fires could reach the city, prompting emergency services to remain on high alert.
