Mitsotakis emphasized that tackling tax evasion is key to ensuring sustainable government revenue, which will allow for increased public investments and tax reductions. He acknowledged the current challenges faced by citizens, but assured that part of the success would be reinvested into society while maintaining fiscal stability.

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister noted that his government would be judged by the increase in nominal wages and tax cuts over the next 2.5 years. He also highlighted Greece’s recent economic upgrade by Moody’s, calling it a national achievement that reflects the country’s progress despite geopolitical challenges.

The government's main priorities, according to Mitsotakis, include reducing unemployment, creating better-paying jobs, shifting the production model, and continuing tax reductions. Additionally, he praised the efficient use of resources from the Recovery Fund, which remains a priority.

Minister Pierrakakis reiterated the importance of tackling tax evasion with advanced technological tools, emphasizing the government's commitment to meeting national goals through new instruments and ongoing legislative work. "The bar has been set high, and we will build on our achievements," he said.
