Ukraine's FM launches Asia tour with official visit to South Korea

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has begun an official visit to South Korea.

Sybiha announced the visit on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

During his stay in the Republic of Korea through June 30, Sybiha is scheduled to meet with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Hyun, to discuss the full range of Ukraine–South Korea relations, including political dialogue, prospects for expanding trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, and coordination on key international issues.

Particular attention will be given to securing South Korea's support for Ukraine in countering Russia's armed aggression and in the country's postwar reconstruction.

In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister will take part in a roundtable with leading Ukrainian and South Korean businesses, hold meetings with representatives of South Korea's academic community, visit the country's only university offering Ukrainian language and cultural studies, and meet with members of the Ukrainian community in South Korea.

As reported, Sybiha is scheduled to pay working visits to the Republic of Korea and Japan from June 29 to July 2.
