PM Marcel Ciolacu begins working visit to Qatar, meets with reps of the Romanian community

AGERPRES special correspondent Daniel Florea, reports: Prime minister Marcel Ciolacu started his two-day visit to Qatar with a meeting he had on Tuesday evening with the representatives of the Romanian community in Qatar, whom he told that the Bucharest authorities are considering finding solutions together with the Qatari ones so that the rights of the Romanians working in Qatar are fully respected, especially regarding the right to pension, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"I know the challenge with the pension system, we are trying to close the memorandum, and I know the exemption from social contributions that you have here, and we have to find through this memorandum with the authorities in Qatar and with the Ministry of Labour what are the best options, so that we overcome this moment," Marcel Ciolacu said.
