During his visit to Brussels, Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with several European commissioners to discuss Moldova's EU accession efforts, reform progress, and key development priorities, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean stressed the importance of continued EU cooperation, calling for unity across all sectors of Moldovan society to advance integration. He held bilateral talks with commissioners responsible for enlargement, economy, innovation, agriculture, and energy transition.

Discussions focused on boosting energy security, supporting green energy, modernizing agriculture, promoting innovation and start-ups, and expanding the IT sector.

European officials reaffirmed their strong support for Moldova’s European path, recognizing the government’s commitment to reforms and democratic alignment. They also stressed the importance of aligning future EU financial and technical support with Moldova’s reform progress.
