Moldova women’s archery team wins European indoor championship
The Moldovan women’s archery team has become Moldova women's archery team European indoor champions.
In the final, the team of Alexandra Mîrca, Nikoli Streapunina, and Kasandra Berzan defeated Georgia 5–4 in a shoot-off.
The athletes, coached by Irina Cecanova, had previously won a gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in 2016 in the mixed event, with Alexandra Mîrca and Dan Olaru, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
This year’s European Indoor Archery Championships are being held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, with 315 archers from 27 countries participating.
